Lyrics: Whitecoatman

Written about 15-20 years ago, revisited and recorded Summer 2006 (c) Gill whitehurst aka Morgenblume

The whitecoat man came yesterday
Said it was all for my own good
Then he pressed the needle under my skin again and said
We'd talk next time if he could

If he could find the time
Spare the Time
Make some time

and I wondered if he would

See I'm not good to know when I'm frightened and I'm raving
I know it's the quality of my life you're saving
But I'm not a child, and this is not misbehaving

Wont you find the time?
"He's a busy man"
Spare some time?
"A very busy man"
Make some time?
"He's not Superman"

Seems there's no expense spared on mind medication
Its so cost effective this mental incarceration
Yeah well what about me?
Stuck here in the station?

Can't you find some time?

"There's people need him more than you"
Spare the Time?
"Why do those things you do?"
Make some time?
"better off without you"

It's storms in my head or blank reservation
Restraining white arms or co-operation
with my full consent or with a little gentle persuasion

Better find some time
Spare some time
Be Superman
You're so busy doing good

"There's people need him more than you"
"Why do those things you do?"
"Better off without you"
So busy doing good
